Comseung values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data Free AI Home Cam ("App") processes, why it is processed, and what choices users have.

1. Data We Process

The App does not require traditional account registration (no email/password sign-up flow).
However, the following data may be processed to provide core features:

1. Data created or provided on your device (stored locally)
   • HomeCam/Viewer pairing data (device identifiers and encryption keys)
   • Event/clip metadata (event time, type, status, favorites, aliases, etc.)
   • Clip files (MP4), thumbnails, and AI overlay JSON files
2. Permission-based data
   • Camera (CAMERA): live video and event clip generation
   • Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): two-way audio and clip audio processing
   • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): event notifications
3. Technical data that may be collected by third-party SDKs

• Device/app identifiers (e.g., advertising ID, Firebase installation ID, push token)
• App usage and performance signals (e.g., via Firebase Analytics, Google Play Services, AdMob SDK)

2. Why We Process Data

We process data for the following purposes:

• Enabling HomeCam-Viewer connection, live streaming, and clip playback
• Detecting events and sending notifications
• Improving app stability and performance
• Serving ads and measuring ad performance (AdMob)

3. How Data Is Transmitted/Handled

• We do not operate a dedicated always-on custom backend server for core app usage.
• Live video/audio is primarily handled between HomeCam and Viewer via WebRTC.
• Firebase services (Realtime Database, Cloud Functions, Messaging, App Check, etc.) are used for signaling, state sync, and notification workflows.
• Google AdMob is used to display ads.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may process data under their own privacy terms:

• Google Firebase (Auth/Database/Functions/Messaging/Analytics/App Check)
• Google AdMob
• Google Play Services

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Clips, thumbnails, and metadata are primarily stored on the user's device.
• Clip data may be removed by user action, app settings (max count/storage limits), or app uninstall.
• Session/state data used via Firebase is processed for service operation and cleaned up according to app logic (including session teardown/cleanup flows).
• Unless legally required otherwise, data is deleted when no longer needed for the stated purposes.

6. Sharing and Selling

• We do not sell users' personal data.
• We may use service providers (such as Google services) as needed to provide app functionality.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage/delete data by:

• Deleting clips/history/paired devices inside the App
• Clearing app data or uninstalling the App from your device
• Resetting advertising identifiers in device settings

8. Children

The App is not designed primarily for children. We comply with applicable child privacy laws and platform policies.

9. International Data Processing

Because Google/Firebase infrastructure is used, data may be processed on servers located outside your country.

We implement reasonable safeguards such as encrypted transport, access controls, and least-privilege principles.
However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy due to legal, policy, or feature changes. Material changes will be communicated through app updates or notices where appropriate.
